My New bike

So I did it I finally got my dream of having a bike come true. A guy from my work hurt his back and cannot ride anymore so I decided to buy his bike from him. I have been making paments on it so I could afford it. He was real patient with me and I with him. I got a really good deal he included an extra set of tires and the bike only has 4800 miles on it and it is about 24 years old. I am excited for spring time so I can take it out riding. I hope to maybe go on a vacation this year and take the bike we will see how well that turns out.

Back to School

Well back to school. It is interesting to see how much I have grown mentaly since I graduated high school. I have learned many talents that have come to fruition that I did not know I had. School is going good. I am spending a lot of time reading and looking for unknown answers to unkown questions. We'll see how it goes though we are just getting our feet wet. My bishop once told me "Cody you have so many opportunities ahead take advantage of every door that is available to open. Learn the keys necessary to open the next door and I promise you if you will stay true to yourself and work hard for everything you want in life the lord will bless you in ways you can't fathom. That includes school, life in general and an eternal family." He also said " It is very possible and I think this will happen that you will find your spouse in school but, don't pay to much attention to it. This will happen in its own time." I love my bishop he has a lot of insight and a lot of care in his heart he sees what I see and I appreciate him for that.

The New Year

Having had a few struggles in the last year I consider it a good and victorious one. The lord blesses us all in the most imaginative ways. I had a good christmas filled with family friends and lots of goodies. The old year went and the new one came. I can now do the things I all ways dreamed of and can do this without any outside influence. It was once said that we should live life to the fullest and with the new school semester starting tomorrow will bring new doors and challenges. I would also like to thank those who stuck by my side through some of my burdens and times with adversity namely the grifiths and the crowthers you guys have been a great set of friends to me and that means a lot. Also to my family for being there for a fallen brother, son, and eternal friend to all members of my family who i appreciate so much for taking me on as a burden and making room to help me get back on my feet. I would not know who else to turn to if I didn't have such a caring family.
